Diane's Doggie Daycare is a small in-home daycare for
your dog that offers a personal touch.  Different than
kennel-like doggie daycares which may have 30-40 dogs
to one person, we never take in more than 4 or 5 dogs
(not counting our beloved Billy!), so you know that your
dog is getting the attention he needs.

Our open environment is not suitable for every dog.  We
are extremely fussy about the dogs we allow to stay. We
take great pride in our loving, clean, and caring facility.
We are not a kennel, nor are we set up like one.  Your
dog stays with us in the comfort of our home.
 Diane’s
Doggie Daycare
provides you the comfort of knowing
that your beloved pet is receiving the care that you
would provide if you were home.

Because we maintain a family-type atmosphere and we
want all of the dogs to enjoy the open environment in our
home, we have an initial get-to-know you visit.  At this
time we will be able to assess your dog's needs and
temperament and make sure we will all get along in your
absence. After all, compatibility is essential for positive
care and socialization experiences. We feel that this pre-
screening is essential for the comfort and happiness of
your pet, as well as all in our close-knit community.
These visits must be scheduled in advance.

Your dog must be at least 6 months old, healthy, house-
trained, and spayed or neutered.  A copy of his or her
vaccination (including an up-to-date bordetella shot) and
health record is required at the time of registration.
State law requires that there is a copy of your pet's
rabies certificate in our files.  I am happy to
accommodate individual medical needs including
administering pills and special diets.

I believe that a happy, stimulated dog is a good, well-
behaved dog.  Behavior problems such as chewing and
excessive barking are often caused by boredom and
loneliness.  The chance to run around in a safe fenced-in
yard or just hang out with other dogs and people is just
what your pet needs when you cannot provide it.

Diane's Doggie Daycare is run by me, Diane Ward.  It
became the logical choice for me after leaving teaching
elementary music for the past 23 years.  I love dogs and
I love being around them. I am the primary care-taker of
the dogs, though my husband Jamie enjoys time with the
dogs when he gets home from work.
